Calypso Diving Bali is more than a dive center – we’re a community that shares a passion for the ocean.
Based in Amed, North East Bali, we offer a personal, safe, and memorable diving experiences for all levels.
Amed offers the ideal environment to learn diving. We teach everything from beginner levels to advanced, specialties, and rescue training.
Amed lies along Bali’s northeast coast, where the island’s volcanic meets the waters of the Indonesian Throughflow. This natural current brings a supply of nutricients from the Pacific, feeding the corals and creating some of the most vibrant marine ecosystems.
Amed’s dive sites make it the perfect destination for fun dives for both new and experienced divers.
The USAT Liberty Wreck, a 120 meter cargo ship resting just off the shore of Tulamben. Covered in corals and surrounded by schooling fish, the wreck sits just a short swim from shore, easily accessible for both new and experienced divers.
Amed is home to rich macro life, offering the perfect setting to spot small critters hidden among the reefs.

We’re happy to accommodate special requests for earlier or later start time whenever possible.
Every month, we partner with Ocean Prosperity to clean the reefs and shorelines of Amed. Through this, we aim to keep Amed’s ocean healthy for the marine life, the community, and the next generations of divers.

We recommend booking ahead, especially during high season. Booking at least a day before is ideal, but walk-ins are always welcome!
Yes, we can help arrange pickup from your hotel in Amed area. Just let us know when you book your dives!
It depends on how many dives you choose. We usually begin at 8:00 AM, and each dive lasts 40-60 minutes.
Fun dives are designed for certified divers who already have training and experience. We encourage beginners to join our Open Water Diver course to get fully certified. If you’re short on time, our Discover Scuba Diving is a great way to try diving with an instructor.
If you start early, it’s possible to do up to 4 dives in a day.
If it’s been a year or more since your last dive, we suggest doing a Refresher Diver before joining fun dives.
Absolutely! As long as you’re certified for Nitrox. We offer EAN 29 to EAN 33 for Rp 50,000 per tank. If you’re not certified yet, we also provide a Nitrox course so you can learn to dive safely with enriched air.
