Discover Bali’s most iconic wreck dives in one full day with our Wreck Diving Package. Dive the legendary USAT Liberty in Tulamben and the newer but just as thrilling Boga Shipwreck in nearby Kubu.
USAT Liberty Wreck – History Underwater
Begin at the USAT Liberty. This World War II cargo ship was torpedoed in 1942 and now rests just offshore at Tulamben. The wreck sits between 5 and 30 meters deep, easy to reach straight from the beach.
Swim through coral-covered beams and wide-open cargo spaces. Soft corals, hard corals, and colorful sponges cover every inch. Schools of fish, turtles, and the occasional barracuda make this wreck feel alive. The Liberty is safe and calm for all levels, which makes it Bali’s most loved wreck dive.
Boga Shipwreck – A New Artificial Reef
Next, head just five minutes up the coast to Kubu to explore the Boga. Sunk in 2012 to form an artificial reef, this 85-meter-long vessel now rests between 18 and 30 meters deep.
This site is best for Advanced divers due to its depth. The Boga is upright on the sandy bottom, waiting to be explored. Swim through open decks, peek inside the wheelhouse, or drift alongside the hull. Marine life here is growing fast — you might see big trevallies hunting and schools of fish darting in and out of the metal frame.
Every dive at the Boga is different. Each year more coral, more life, more surprises.
Two Wrecks. One Dive Package.
Experience the perfect mix of history and adventure in Bali’s best wreck sites. The Wreck Package is for divers who want something more than just a reef. Dive in, explore deep, and come home with memories you will talk about for years.
